The zippers are easy to reach and open and close seamlessly. On the rare occasion that I’m using this bag for a leisurely day and don’t have to carry an extra pair of shoes, I use the main compartment for a hoodie or to hold some small things that I buy on an excursion into NYC. That being said, the shoe pocket does exactly what it I wanted it to do: keep my office essentials from smelling like feet. So much so that I hardly ever put anything into the main compartment when I have a pair of shoes in the bag. I’m combining these two compartments into the same section because, as HL mentioned in his Aer Travel Pack review, one of the biggest problems with a dedicated shoe pocket is that it takes up a majority of the main compartment. Things that help a day in the office go by. That means all of my things get a little squished including my dress shoes. When it’s fully packed with my shoes, this pocket definitely gets a little snug after I zip it closed. The only gripe I have about this pocket is that I wish it was just a tad bigger. Because I use this bag almost 5 days a week, I can reach into it and take out everything I need without having to dig. When I get to work, it’s very nice to be able to open up my backpack and know exactly where everything is. It has a smaller interior pocket where I keep my wallet, pens, business cards, and a FiiO headphone amp. It has pockets for my 14” HP EliteBook laptop, its charger, a wireless Logitech mouse, a notebook, and a slot for papers. Office Essentials PocketĪs a work bag, the Aer Fit Pack has a dedicated compartment for everything I need. After using the backpack for about one year, I think it’s almost the perfect everyday work bag. The campaign ran back in 2015 and I received the bag at the end of 2016. When I found the Kickstarter campaign from Aer, it seemed to be the perfect match for what I wanted and decided to make it the first product that I ever backed on Kickstarter. Since I don’t have a dedicated desk at my office, leaving my dress shoes at my desk wasn’t an option. The Aer Fit Pack first caught my eye because I was looking for a backpack that has a separate compartment that could carry my dress shoes apart from my laptop so that my office essentials wouldn’t smell like feet.
